AWESOME NEWS BULLETIN:
The Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust will be donating the prize fund to the victims of the Hout Bay Fires. A post has been shared on Facebook announcing that “The Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust will donate the 2017 prize fund of R220 000 to the relief efforts of those affected by the fires in Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay. They are also donating water bottles to DARG (the Domestic Animal Rescue Group) who are saving and caring for animals from those affected areas.”
A South African Traffic officer is going viral after a video was released showing their awesome car directing skills. Murray Kernick uploaded the video while sitting in his car at the corner of Witkoppen and Cedar Road. The video has already had over 150 000 views and doesn’t seem to be slowing down.The traffic officer, whose name we do not yet know, can be seen directing traffic on a hot Saturday afternoon with her South African flair. The best way to describe it… is someone who absolutely loves her job.
The South African Springbok Sevens team stopped to perform a random act of kindness while on an International rugby tour.
The team most recently, won the HSBC Las Vegas Sevens title, their fourth gold medal in the 2016/17 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.And a couple of days after the big win, the team were caught performing a random act of kindness in Vancouver, Canada.
The stranger who the team stopped to help, had no idea who they were but she was very thankful for the assistance. A man can be heard telling her that they are actually world champion rugby players from South Africa… changing her tyre for free.
