A 26-year-old woman from India was awarded a Guinness World Record for the number of teeth in her mouth: 38. The woman has six more teeth in her mouth than the average adult, earning her the record for the most teeth in a person's mouth. She said dentists have determined her record might increase in the future, as she has two more teeth that have yet to emerge.

Scream actress cancelled for pro-Palestinian posts

Mexican actress Melissa Barrera has been fired from the forthcoming Scream film sequel after the production company said her recent pro-Palestinian social media posts were antisemitic. The star has posted regularly about the Israel-Gaza conflict, including resharing one post that accused Israel of "genocide and ethnic cleansing". Rock Lobster population now at 1% of its pristine levels

The Department of Environment, Fisheries and Forestry says it has no choice but to cut fishing allocations for rock lobsters. The rock lobster population is now at one-percent of its pristine levels. Small-scale fishers have complained that the 16-percent reduction in Total Allowable Catch hurts their businesses. The department says factors that include overfishing, climate change, and poaching have led to the decline in the rock lobster population.

SAA suffers losses of R3.4b

City meets with Eskom to resolved power outage in Elsies River

CPI increases again

The Consumer Price Inflation (CPI) increased again, rising to five-point-nine percent in October. According to Statistics South Africa (Stats SA), the third consecutive increase saw prices rise on average by zero-point-nine percent between September and October. Among the drivers of high inflation were higher food prices and transport costs. Analysts say the increase marks a negative turn for consumer prices.
