Food lovers are in for a treat as the HalaalGoods Market returns to Waterfall Park in Midrand. Visitors can sample a variety of local and international street food, including kimbap, pizzas, karak chai and brisket burgers, all prepared with halaal-friendly ingredients.
New this year is First Taste Friday, an exclusive opening experience offering early access to selected vendors, limited-edition menu items and product launches.

Joburg Golden July
Horse racing, fashion and music come together at Joburg Golden July at Turffontein Race Course this Saturday.
The event features a day of thoroughbred racing, luxury car displays, premium hospitality experiences and fashion competitions, including the sought-after Best-Dressed awards.
Guests can also enjoy live music performances throughout the day and into the evening.

702 Jozi My Jozi Walk the Talk
Thousands are expected to take part in the reimagined 702 Jozi My Jozi Walk the Talk on Sunday.
Participants can choose from 5km, 8km and 15km routes that take in some of Johannesburg’s best-known landmarks, including the Nelson Mandela Bridge and Newtown precinct.
All routes are wheelchair- and pram-friendly, while food, entertainment and family activities will be available at the finish village.
Where: Ellis Park Stadium in New Doornfontein.
