Pop superstar Miley Cyrus had an unforgettable Friday on May 22, when she was officially honoured with a star on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

While the Grammy winner’s achievement alone was buzzworthy, a touching congratulatory message of a stunning floral arrangement from her “II Most Wanted” collaborator Beyoncé was the cherry on top.

Ahead of the ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard, Beyoncé’s gift made its way to the star.

The arrangement included a personal, handwritten note that referenced the singer’s recent work together on Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” album.

The message began by playing off Cyrus’s global smash hit “Flowers” stating, “I know my shotgun rider can buy her own flowers but here you go, congratulations for the star it’s so well deserved”.

The note solidified their musical bond, using the term “shotgun rider”, a key lyric from their celebrated duet, “II Most Wanted”.

This grand gesture is part of a sweet tradition for the “16 Carriages” singer, who often sends her signature bouquet of white roses to fellow artists and creatives to acknowledge their successes.

This is not the first time Cyrus has been on the receiving end of Beyoncé’s thoughtful gifts. Following the release of their collaboration Beyoncé sent Cyrus a bouquet along with a note expressing gratitude for her contribution to the fan-favourite track.

“Miley, thank you for making this song even more special. I hope you have an amazing day! Sending love and hugs. Love, B”.

The growing list of high-profile recipients of Queen Bey’s floral tributes includes artists like Tyla, Nicki Minaj, SZA, Victoria Monet, K Michelle, Coco Jones and Reneé Rapp.

This milestone reportedly makes Miley the 2,845th celebrity to earn the honour in Los Angeles.

During her emotional speech, the 33-year-old singer and actress became tearful while thanking the people who helped her reach this point. She acknowledged her family, friends and collaborators for supporting not just her decisions.

She was surrounded by loved ones at the ceremony, including her mother Tish Cyrus, sister Brandi Cyrus and fiancé Maxx Morando.

Friends Donatella Versace and Anya Taylor-Joy were also present and gave speeches in her honour.

Speaking about the permanent nature of the recognition, Cyrus reflected that the star is “an accumulation of devotion”.

She stressed that the star is not something you chase or win like a seasonal game, but something enduring, with her name “laid in gold and pink terrazzo!”.

She promised to continue creating art that she hopes will impact generations to come. It was clearly a day the “Flowers” singer will never forget.
