Katelyn Allerga (nee Williams) founder of The Kate Tin food media, chats with Sean Loots about all things chocolate and about developing her passion for sweet things into a viable business.

Katelyn’s baking and dessert blog, The Kate Tin has won Best Food Blog in South Africa multiple times in a row. Not only does Katelyn have her own range of chocolates, but she has also authored an award-winning book called CHOCOLATE!

Having completed her studies as a professional pastry chef at the Institute of Culinary Arts in Stellenbosch, she worked in different restaurants and hotel settings before joining Top Billing as food editor. Katelyn is a Professional Food Stylist, Food Journalist, Recipe Developer and Food Photographer and shares a few bakings in this Women’s Month celebration Zoom call.
