Shall We Dance
This weekend, Durban’s vibrant dance community showcases talent in a spectacular performance featuring both amateur and professional dancers.
This five-show event promises to deliver a joyful celebration of rhythm and movement, showcasing a medley of dance styles that include ballroom, Latin, Indian, modern, and ballet.
Included in the line-up are professional Latin couple, Darren Hammond and Marina Steshenko. Hammond is no stranger to the Durban stage, having made various guest artist appearances over the years.
In addition to the dance performances, the audience can expect to enjoy special numbers hosted by the vibrant MC, Lisa Bobbert, alongside her team from the International School of Performing Arts.
“Shall We Dance” will also pay homage to the Broadway classic, “Chicago the Musical”, which celebrates its 50th anniversary.

The Rocky Horror Show
The cult classic musical, “The Rocky Horror Show”, is making its way to Durban with a fresh production, promising an unforgettable experience for fans and newcomers.
Directed by Steven Stead, this new production not only celebrates the musical’s kitschy roots but also its influence on fashion and punk rock aesthetics.
Fans will revel in its campy charm, while new audiences will discover a pivotal piece of theatrical history.
Leading the cast is Johannesburg actor Tshepo Ncokoane, who will don the extravagant garb of the cross-dressing mad scientist, Frank N Furter.
Joining Ncokoane are talents such as Bryan Hiles as Brad, Keryn Lynn Scott as Janet and Schoeman Smit as Riff Raff.
The production will feature classics such as “The Time Warp”, “Sweet Transvestite”, “Touch-a-Touch Me” and “Damn It, Janet”.
