Drakensberg Boys Choir – Music In The Mountains

Enjoy the long weekend festivities as the Drakensberg Boys Choir welcomes audiences to its home campus for a musical spectacle.

The theme of the concert is “Hope, Heritage and Harmony” and over four immersive days, the campus will come alive with music, movement and community as audiences gather to celebrate the unifying power of music.

Attendees can also explore local stalls and handmade gifts while also enjoying an array of food, such as bunny chows and gourmet burgers.

All proceeds from the shows will go toward the school’s bursary programme.

Where: Drakensberg Boys Choir School in Cathkin Park.

When: Runs until Monday, April 27, from 9am on all days. 

The Doek On Fleek Gospel Picnic 

This renowned lifestyle event features live worship and spiritual fellowship.

With an “All White” with a specific colour accent theme, the event is meant for spiritual revival, fellowship and celebration through music.

The line-up will include Noah, Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Brenden Praise, Jumbo and Thinah Zungu. 

Where: Munies Hockey Club.

When: Sunday, April 26, from 10am.

The 2026 Amanzimtoti Surf Fest 2026

This live surf action event promises a vibrant atmosphere on the Sapphire Coast. 

The community-focused festival hosted by the Shorebreak Surf Club and Shorebreak Surfing Ministry celebrates the Sapphire Coast’s surf culture. 

Expect high-performance heats with pro photography capturing the action. There will also be rugby and volleyball matches that will run parallel to the surfing, as well as artisan markets to explore.

Another special feature will be the “Wheels on Waves” initiative, which provides sandcruiser floating wheelchairs for inclusive ocean access. 

Where: Amanzimtoti Main Beach.

When: Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, from 8am.
