Mother’s Day Concert at Johannesburg Zoo
Some of Mzansi’s biggest stars are set to take to this stage at this full-day outdoor experience, which celebrates moms.
The line-up includes Ami Faku, The Soil, Bongi Archi and Matthew Mole. Meanwhile, the Phoenix Orchestra, conducted by Richard Cock, will also entertain attendees in the relaxed, open-air atmosphere of the zoo.
Apart from the spectacular live performances, families can also enjoy some time in the autumn sun on the lawns. They can also explore the zoo while the youngsters will be entertained at the dedicated kids’ entertainment areas, which include jumping castles and face painting.

Magical Marble Family Festival
This festival is the newest event from the minds behind the Luxurious Marble Circus, once again offering a space for families to enjoy.
The headline acts will be Mi Casa, Jeremy Loops, GoodLuck, DJ Fresh and DJ Zinhle.
Attendees can also expect appearances by Minions Henry and James, plus the festival’s own Fairy Godmother, Anele Mgudlwa.
There are also dedicated spaces for different age groups, such as Tiny Town, a soft play and sensory space for 0–6 year olds as well as Teen Zone. There will also be a range of food and beverage options on sale.

Sunset Music Series featuring Jeremy Loops
The “Sunset Music Series” returns to Johannesburg this weekend, kicking off its 2026 season with Jeremy Loops on Mother’s Day.
Fans can expect to hear some of the top tracks from the renowned local musician’s popular discography. The family-friendly event also invites people of all ages to take in the beautiful backdrop of the garden’s lush landscape while enjoying the great outdoors.
