Tyla’s “We Wanna Party” Asia tour has hit a small delay. The Grammy-winning singer’s Hong Kong show, originally set for November 23, has been postponed to a new date, which organisers say will be announced in the coming weeks.
The announcement was made by concert organisers “Black Braille”, who shared an official statement confirming the schedule change.
“We would like to inform you that the ‘Tyla We Wanna Party Show in Hong Kong,’ originally scheduled for November 23, 2025, has been postponed to a new date (announcement in the coming weeks). We sincerely apologise to all fans who have been eagerly anticipating the concert,” the statement read.
The organisation added that ticket refunds will be processed via the original payment method or through the confirmation email from ticketing platforms.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely ask for your understanding as we reschedule the date,” the statement continued.
The Hong Kong leg was one of the highly anticipated stops on Tyla’s record-breaking “We Wanna Party” Asia tour, which has already made history with sold-out shows in both Thailand and the Philippines.
Fans have expressed disappointment on social media, saying that this is not the first time the star has postponed a concert.
“She cancelled her North American tour last year. She’s cancelled two of the biggest Asia tour dates with no official statement or condolences to their queens… love her down, but it’s kind of getting weird,” wrote @Aquarodes on X.
“All I’ll say is that she can’t keep doing this,” said @BassieLstrassi.
The “We Wanna Party” tour is set to kick off on November 11 in Tokyo and includes stops across Asia, including Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, China, Indonesia, India, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
In other news, the 23-year-old singer, who won her first Grammy in 2024 for “Water” in the inaugural Best African Music Performance category, recently received another nomination.
Her hit song “Push 2 Start” has been nominated in the same category for the 2026 Grammy Awards.
She is going up against Burna Boy, Davido and Omah Lay, Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin, as well as Ayra Starr and Wizkid.
