Compendium has announced the appointment of Dini Nondumo as its new chief executive officer, effective October 1, 2026.
Nondumo, known for his roles as ‘Tendai’ in Backstage and Vuyo Nogaba in SABC 1’s Generations, he will be based at the company’s Durban office, will lead the business’s next phase of growth, strategic development and long-term vision.
According to Compendium’s LinkedIn post, his appointment forms part of the company’s plans to strengthen its position in the market and pursue new opportunities for expansion.

Nondumo brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across the insurance and financial services sectors.
During his career, he has worked across commercial growth, business transformation, strategic partnerships, market expansion and operational excellence.
Compendium said Nondumo has led businesses ranging from entrepreneurial ventures to large corporate operations.
The company added that his experience includes building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth.
Compendium said Nondumo’s commercial experience and industry expertise would support his role in providing strategic direction and driving the company’s future growth.
