In a rant on social media, US President Donald Trump has threatened to take legal action against Trevor Noah after the comedian took a dig at him while hosting the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

Noah threw shade at Trump’s wanting Greenland, following singer Billie Eilish scooped the coveted ‘Song of the Year’ award.

There you have it, song of the year! Congratulations, Billie Eilish. Wow. That’s a Grammy that every artist wants — almost as much as Trump wants Greenland. Which makes sense because, since Epstein’s gone, he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton,” the 41-year-old comedian said, referencing allegations of Trump’s involvement with American financier, child sex offender, serial rapist and human trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, and claims that both the former and current US Presidents had visited the island.

Taking to social media, Trump said the Grammy Awards were “virtually unwatchable.”

“The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel,” Trump continued.

“…Noah said, incorrectly about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. Wrong! I can’t speak to Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media. Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight and get them straight fast,” Trump raged on.

“It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless dope of an MC and suing him for plenty of $. Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you,” Trump said before signing off the post, ‘President DJT’.

According to media reports, the US Department of Justice has released millions of new Epstein files. So far, three million pages, more than 1,500 videos and around 180,000 photographs were made public last week. Trump’s name has reportedly been mentioned in the files several times despite him denying knowledge of Epstein’s history.
