Leading up to the release of her sophomore album “A*POP”, global superstar Tyla is everywhere.

After several high-profile and international stages, Tyla is set to take on Portugal’s Afronation.

Afro Nation has become one of the most coveted festival stages for African artists. Since launching in 2019, it has attracted some of the continent’s biggest stars, including Burna Boy, Davido, Rema and Tems, while connecting African and diaspora audiences from around the world.

Held annually on the golden sands of Praia da Rocha in Portimão, Portugal.

The Portugal performance comes as Tyla ramps up the global campaign for her highly anticipated sophomore album, A*POP. With each major festival appearance, the Grammy-winning singer has been teasing what fans can expect from her new musical era, cementing her place as one of Africa’s biggest international exports.

This is Tyla’s second time performing at Afronation. This time she headlines the festival alongside Nigerian superstar Wizkid, Asake, American rapper Gunna, and Mariah The Scientist.

With A*POP expected to arrive soon, all eyes will be on Tyla’s Afro Nation set to see whether she debuts new music or surprises fans with special guest appearances.

Afronation draws thousands of people from over 100 countries, who come together to celebrate music, cultural values and shared identity on a global scale.

South Africa will once again have a strong presence at the festival, with amapiano continuing its global expansion. From Kelvin Momo’s soulful sound to Zee Nxumalo’s chart-topping hits, the country’s artists are expected to showcase the genre’s growing international appeal.

Actor Hungani Ndlovu, a month after reviving his DJ career as DJ Grizi, is bagging international bookings. The multi-talented personality shared the good news that he would be performing in Portugal at two gigs in Algarve.

“Did someone say “Portugal”? No they didn’t…but GOD DID!!,” Ndlovu shared.

Ndlovu returned to the music booth after a six-year hiatus and, on his YouTube channel, launched the “BREEZE Sessions,” a platform for his music and featuring up-and-coming artists/DJs within the house, amapiano, afrobeats, 3-Step, and gqom genres.
