Government says it has noted Standard and Poor’s Global Rating’s decision to keep South Africa’s credit rating unchanged.
The agency maintained a stable outlook despite the government’s deteriorating debt position.
S&P’s rating is in line with the credit agency Fitch, which rates South Africa as BB-negative.
