South African award-winning singer Kelly Khumalo on Mother’s Day hosted an event called Renew and Reclaim A Woman’s Healing Circle with Kelly Khumalo Felizwe.
Khumalo, in a post on Instagram, reflected on the success of the day, sharing how she felt and thanking those who came to the event.
“My heart is full, I have no words… all I can say is Lord, you are faithful and true. Thank you to all the Queens who showed up today,” she wrote.
In a separate post, the songstress shared pictures of the women lying on their backs, as though they were enjoying a sound bath. She revealed in her caption that the retreat was about “womb healing and cord cutting”.
Instagram user mamabolonomvula, who attended the event, commented on the post and shared her experience.”@Kellykhumaloza This event was everything! Exceeded my expectations! You gave so much of yourself & more🙌🏾Thank you.”
Others who missed the event were asking about the next one and expressed a desire to purchase tickets.
Khumalo, in an Instagram video before her event, had shared a message about what happens when a connection has ended, which sparked the event.
“Do we ever think about the importance of taking our power back, taking our energy back, cutting the cord, womb cleaning and cleansing because some of us go through unnecessary blockage simply because we are connected to people that we have no business dealing with, and these people continue to glow using your energy,” she said in the video.
