South African actress Lorraine Moropa has expanded her impact beyond acting after she announced that she has launched her own foundation, Lorraine SA Foundation.

Taking to Instagram, Moropa shared that the foundation is a passion project that is dedicated to restoring hope, preserving dignity and creating lasting change in communities.

“Today marks the beginning of one of the greatest honours of my life. For years, I prayed that God would allow my life to mean more than personal success. I prayed for the opportunity to serve, to uplift communities, and to become a vessel through which hope could be restored. Today, that prayer takes on a new form.”

Moropa also posted two images, showcasing the new uniform of her foundation and added that the uniform serves as a constant reminder of the purpose she’s committed to.

“This uniform is more than what I wear. It represents the responsibility I have been entrusted with. A responsibility to lead with compassion, to serve with integrity, and to never lose sight of the people at the heart of this mission,” the actress shared.

The 28-year-old further explained the foundation’s mission and the impact she hopes it will have on communities.

“The Lorraine SA Foundation exists to restore hope, preserve dignity, and create lasting impact within our communities. I accept this calling with humility, gratitude, and a heart that is ready to serve. My prayer is that every individual and every community we serve will be left better than we found them,” she added.

She followed up with another post, showing their first visit to John Wesley Community Centre in Daveyton, where they gave back to the community and donated food and also served lunch to the community.

The team also participated in activities such as gardening and got to experience a live performance.

Moropa is a popular South African actress who made her television debut with the series “Class of ’92”.

She went on to land numerous roles on popular soapies and TV shows, including “Lithapo”, “The Queen”, “Kings of Joburg”, “Hope”, “Guilt” and “Nkalakatha: The Life of Mandoza”.
