Missing Gauteng woman Celeste van Awegen and her dog has been found safe.
van Awegen was reported missing over the weekend. She was last seen going to Lanseria Airport.
According to Milk Bolhuis from Security Specialised Services (SSS) the victim was found safe and unharmed.
“Her dog Shadow was also found in her company.”
No further details have been provided.
Meanwhile an Eastern Cape pensioner who had been kidnapped at the weekend has been reunited with her family, the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (known as Hawks) confirmed.
Lindsay Knowlden, 65, was abducted during the early morning hours on Saturday, June 21, in Gqeberha.
The Hawks said that Knowlden was safely reunited with her family and the investigation was ongoing.
“At this stage, we kindly request that the family be afforded the privacy and time they need to process and recover from this distressing ordeal,” the Hawks said in a statement.
