“Top Billing”, South Africa’s longest-running and most iconic entertainment and lifestyle programme, returns to screens on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7.00 pm on S3.

As anticipation builds ahead of the premiere, one question remains on everyone’s lips: who will be the new faces of “Top Billing”? The channel is keeping things tight-lipped, with a reveal announcement teased for “soon”.

Batsetsana Kumalo, the original executive producer who steered “Top Billing” under the Tswelopele Productions, shared in a video on Instagram.

“There are brand new faces joining ‘Top Billing’, and I think you’re going to love them. Trust me, this is next level. “

The much-loved brand returns after leaving screens in 2019, after gracing our screens for an impressive 27 years before its final episode. “Top Billing” was the go-to for “the best of the good life”.

From luxury homes, weddings and dream travel destinations to inspiring local success stories and unforgettable celebrity moments. The comeback season continues this legacy, offering an authentic and inspiring look into the lives of individuals who have worked passionately to build meaningful, successful lives.

The new season will spotlight young, urban, intelligent and culturally aware South Africans who are shaping the future through collaboration, creativity and innovation.

“This show has always been about celebrating what’s possible,” explained Patience Stevens, Managing Director at Cardova Productions and Executive Producer of Top Billing.

“Bringing it back now, at a time when inspiring local stories matter more than ever, feels incredibly special. We’re honouring the legacy while creating something that feels fresh, relevant and deeply connected to today’s audience.”

“Top Billing” will air Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7.00pm on S3, with a repeat every Sunday at 1.00pm on S3 and a rebroadcast every Tuesday at 9.30pm on SABC 1.
