Diesel to cost less from next month- according to reports

We start off with some good news for diesel users who can expect a slight relief at the pumps next month.
The Bureau for Economic Research expects prices could come down between 26 cents and 51 cents per litre.
The lower diesel price may also ease pressure on the high food prices.

Questions around cause of death of bodies claimed by Thabo Bester’s girlfriend

A Free State family has contacted police, believing that one of the bodies claimed by Dr Nandipha Magudumana days before Thabo Bester’s escape is their relative.
Over the weekend, Katlego Mpholo’s body was identified. But questions have now been asked about the remaining bodies and the cause of their deaths.

City’s offices closed for public holidays 

The City of Cape Town is reminding the public that its offices will be closed on Thursday for Freedom Day and on Monday for the May 1st Worker’s Day. The City says customers are encouraged to make use of their e-services portals to make online payments where possible.

Serial record breaker breaks yet another record

Serial world record breaker David Rush has entered his name into the record books again after passing an 18kg weight from one hand to the other 100 times in under 17 seconds. He held the previous record for the same feat which took him 21,69 seconds back in 2019. He also holds the 9kg weight category version of the record.
