SA’s unemployment rate drops
The official unemployment rate in South Africa has dropped to 31-point-nine percent in the third quarter of 2023.

According to the data, the number of unemployed persons decreased by 72-thousand to seven-point-eight-million.
The number of employed persons increased by 399-thousand to 16-point-seven-million in the third quarter of this year.
World’s largest chandelier created in CT

Eskom’s latest system report has warned that the next 52 weeks are projected to see generation shortfalls of over two-thousand megawatts.
This is equal to two stages of loadshedding.
According to the power utility, the system report features a 52-week projection, which is coded based on the expected supply and demand.
President Ramaphosa visits Qatar for two day state visit
President Cyril Ramaphosa has traveled to Qatar on a two-day State visit to the Gulf Region.
South Africa and Qatar will next year celebrate 30 years since the relationship was established.
