No rain expected for Saturday’s Hollywoodbets Durban July but you may need a jacket

While no rain is expected on Saturday, those attending the glamorous Hollywoodbets Durban July will want to pack a little something warm as temperatures are expected to hover between 13 and 22°C.

South African Weather Service (Saws) forecaster, Wiseman Dlamini, said Saturday’s weather is expected to be fine with a light westerly to north-westerly in the morning. 

“Otherwise it will be a light to moderate easterly to north-easterly wind from late afternoon,” Dlamini said. 

On Sunday, Durban can expect a high of 20°C.

“The weather will be fine, becoming cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers in the afternoon,” Dlamini added. 

For the rest of the country, Saws predicts partly cloudy conditions are expected for the central and southern parts of the country, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread in places over the south-western areas.

Otherwise, it will be cool to cold in other parts.
