Graeme’s passion and love for radio came about as the result a long distance radio dedication on his Birthday, at the age of five. After hearing his name and a Carpenters song booming out of the speakers at high volume, Graeme was hooked. “It was as if I had been struck by a musical lightning bolt. I remember the moment clearly” he says. Graeme started his career aged 21, at Good Hope Fm. Through a very fast paced and exciting decade, hosting prime time shows at the Cape’s iconic radio station, which included stints on Drivetime & Breakfast, he was approached by Kfm to move across and liven up their brand, re-igniting the radio market, in Cape Town. Magic 828 called in 2015 and a new adventure began. “It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride. Never a dull moment in this industry and that’s what keeps it exciting”, he explains. Graeme, who is affectionately known as The Vanilla Thriller, from his positive, energetic and quick paced presentation style, hosts Magic Breakfast each weekday morning. When he’s not behind the microphone, he is kept busy programming and managing all the audio driven elements on the station.
