Schools can’t be exempt from power cuts- Eskom

Eskom says schools can’t be exempt from power cuts during the exam period as examination centres are not situated in one central place. The basic education has expressed confidence that the Matric exams which got underway this morning will be written despite the rolling blackouts. More than 923,000 part time and full time learners have enrolled to sit for the National Senior Certificate exams.
