The actress is in South Africa filming Disney’s highly anticipated “The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen” and has been sharing moments of her time in the country.

Mgarimbe once gave the nation a second anthem in “Sister Bethina”; it’s the song that brings South Africans together. Bailon-Houghton’s South African followers, after hearing the song on the post, commented on the song choice.

Bailon-Houghton saw the comments and responded to them in another carousel where she posted a video of herself at dinner with her family.
In the video, Bailon-Houghton and her friends are talking about how they are in South Africa and how “Sister Bethina” needed to be played, and then they would be in South Africa.
The actress and her family have been having a great time exploring Mzansi; she and her family even attended a rugby game.

Raven-Symoné reflects on filming in Cape Town
In a recent interview on Good Hope FM with Irma G, she shared her time in South Africa. The actress admitted that what she encountered was vastly different from the picture she had been given back home in the US.
“In America, propaganda is a mess,” she said, adding that she planned to return home “as an ally”.
The actress went further, revealing that her experience had been so positive that she had even considered moving to South Africa.
“I came here, and I forgot I was from America,” she said.
