Thandiswa Mazwai, Desmond and the Tutus and Skhumba live in Joburg this weekend

The Soirée: Courtside Couture

Some of Mzansi’s top artists are set to take to the stage at this event, which celebrates music, food and culture.

The musical line-up includes Bongo Maffin’s lead vocalist, songwriter and South African Music Awards-winner Thandiswa Mazwai.

She will be joined by the “Queen of Amapiano” Sha Sha, MTV Africa Music Award winner Shekhinah, SAMA Award winner Bongeziwe Mabandla, alongside many more.

There will also be delicious food and beverages available.

That Winter Fest

This annual festival is ready to heat up Jozi with a fired up line-up.

Those who perform include Desmond and the Tutus, The Tazers, Black Math, Ruff Majik, Worms, Crunchy Sweater and more across two stages on one electrifying night.

There will also be high-end stage production and captivating visuals in celebration of some of Joburg’s best alternative and rock talent.

Skhumba’s Weekend Comedy Special

Renowned local comedian Skhumbuzo “Skhumba” Hlophe is set for a weekend of laughs as he stages his comedy special.

The show will feature the entertainer’s trademark comedy in what promises to be an evening of stand-up full of laughs.

Where: The Mardi Gras at Carnival City Casino

When: Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, from 7pm both evenings.
