“Survivor 50” on Mnet
“Survivor” is celebrating a half-century of seasons with a landmark season themed ‘In the Hands of the Fans’, integrating celebrity appearances and first-ever fan-voted game mechanics, which a star-studded roster of 24 returning castaways must negotiate in their bid to become the 50th Sole Survivor.
The first episode, a three-hour Survivor feast, comes to M-Net on March 15 at 6.00pm, with subsequent episodes running to 90 minutes.
98th Academy Awards to be Broadcast Live on M-Net on 16 March
The 98th Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) in the early hours of Monday, March 16.
Late-night legend Conan O’Brien returns for a second consecutive turn as host of the ‘Oscars’, film’s biggest night, promising his trademark wit and high-energy delivery.
The Oscars Red Carpet Live 2026 starts at 00.30 CAT, followed by the main event at 01:00 CAT.
For those who miss the late-night glamour, the full ceremony will be available on Monday, March 16 on MM1 DStv Channel 104 at 7.00 pm and on Saturday, March 21, at 8.00 pm on M-Net.
“Paradise” season two on Disney+
The second season of the hit series debuted on February 23. Set against the backdrop of a civilisation fractured by climate disaster, “Paradise” explores what it means to hold onto hope, loyalty, and love when survival itself feels uncertain.
The new season picks up with a world no longer defined by comfort or illusion, but by consequence. For Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, portrayed with striking nuance by Sterling K. Brown, survival is no longer just about staying alive; it’s about choosing what, and who, is worth fighting for.
While Season one established Paradise as a gripping dystopian thriller, Season two pushes the series into more emotionally complex territory.
Familiar faces return alongside new cast members, including Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Michael McGrady, adding fresh perspectives to a world already rich with tension and moral ambiguity.
“Love, Law and Betrayal” S2
“Law, Love and Betrayal” follows the powerful Gumede family, played by Nimrod Nkosi and Pearl Modiadie, as their feud threatens the future of Gumede & Associates.
Created by executive producer Thandi Ramathesele (a long-time producer on “7de Laan”) and produced by Izwi Multimedia, the legal drama is set between Thembisa and Sandton.
Shannon Esra joins the cast as formidable crossover lawyer Sandra Stein, joined by Sparky Xulu as social justice attorney Sakhile Nxusa, and Katlego Lebogang as criminal lawyer Bakang Mokgotso.
“Law, Love and Betrayal” is directed by Nthabiseng Tau and SAFTA winners Nthabiseng Mokoena and Christo Davids.
“Hijack” season two – new episodes on Apple TV
In the thrilling second season of “Hijack,” starring and executive produced by SAG Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Idris Elba, a Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage, while authorities scramble to save hundreds of lives.
Sam Nelson (Elba) is at the heart of the crisis on board, where one wrong decision could spell disaster. Season two reunites its ensemble cast of stars, including Elba, who was honoured with an Emmy Award nomination for his season one performance, Christine Adams, Max Beesley and Archie Panjabi
