The result is a 12-hour party that runs from day into night and promises nonstop music, performance and good vibes in the heart of the city.
The music leans into feel-good electronica, disco and house, with a lineup that includes GiZ from Berlin, Kanan K 7 from Brazil, Wata Mami, DJ Diskotekah, Erefaan Pearce, El Gordo and live performances by Tamara Dey and 3 DIVAS.
Rori Bingham will be on MC duties to keep the energy flowing throughout the day.
Beyond the music, this is very much a full experience.
Expect multiple bars on site, plenty of chill rooms when you need a breather, and even a glitter station to level up your look.
It is going to be hot, so bring your swimming costume if you feel like cooling off. Anyone struggling with the heat can expect to be sprayed down.
Top tips for the day include packing sunblock, a hand fan and your best party energy.
TropicalDISKO takes place at the Cape Town High School field in Gardens from 11 am. Tickets are R400 via AirDosh.
This one is made for dancing all day and celebrating summer in Cape Town.
