The Springboks return to Twickenham with one goal in mind: to clinch the Rugby Championship title in style.

Normally a fortress of northern hemisphere rugby, the world-renowned stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off) becomes the battleground for southern supremacy — and South Africa are primed to leave their mark, as they have in the past.

All eyes are on the blend of youth and experience that defines the 2025 Bok setup. Flanker Pieter-Steph du Toit remains a pivotal figure in the pack and will play a crucial role. His tireless engine, lineout prowess, and leadership will be vital in disrupting the opposition’s structure and maintaining Springbok intensity for the full 80 minutes.

Among the front rowers, the powerful Ox Nché and tighthead Thomas du Toit are set to lead the scrum battle. Known for their raw strength and technical excellence, “The Ox” and “The Tank” will be key weapons in the set piece — an area the Boks will look to dominate early.

Jasper Wiese adds further muscle at No 8, bringing bruising physicality and relentless carries — both essential against Los Pumas. His battle with Argentina’s loose forwards could shape the rhythm of the contest.

But perhaps the most intriguing story lies in the backline, where rising star Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu is expected to feature once again. The young playmaker brings spark and vision to the Bok attack, with the ability to unlock defences through both his boot and unpredictable flair.

That 37-point haul in Durban will still be fresh in everyone’s memory, but this week presents a different challenge. Argentina will target him — and keeping calm under pressure will be key for the young pivot.
