Women’s Day event to celebrate resilience, art and conscious cooking in Durban

The SSRRT Women’s Forum will host its annual Women’s Day celebration on Saturday, August 8, at the Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple.

The event, which runs from 10am to 1pm, will feature keynote speaker Nirvashnee Naidu, a South African author, poet and motivational speaker.

Organisers said Naidu’s address will focus on themes of hope, healing and resilience, drawing on her personal journey.

Guests will also take part in a guided painting experience and celebrate the launch of Conscious Cuisine, a satvik cookbook initiative recognising the temple’s cooks and their contributions.

Tickets cost R180 per person, which includes all art materials and prasadam.

The event is open to those wishing to celebrate Women’s Day through inspiration, creativity and community fellowship.
