Magic Music Radio will be live from the World of Birds on Sunday the 16th of December, from 10am til 5pm, coming out in support of this private mainstay of Cape Town’s best attractions.
We’re big believers in reliving your magic memories, and generation to generation, families having been making them at the World of Birds. This charity broadcast is held in conjunction with the BackaBuddy fund raising campaign to keep the sanctuary open for generations to come.
Sunday is the perfect day to start your family holiday by coming to the World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary & Monkey Park, buying a ticket and supporting our feathered and furry friends while listening to music & having a Magic day out.
If you don’t already know, the World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary & Monkey Park is under threat of closure from mounting operational costs. For 40 years they’ve helped and housed thousands of birds and small mammals out of the goodness of their hearts and out of their own pockets. This privately owned Sanctuary has pushed through hard times to bring joy to multiple generations of Capetonians & sightseers while doing the good that they do.
They are now turning to you for help.
The World of Birds has started a BackaBuddy campaign in order to raise funds to keep their doors open. They need R500 000.00 to stay operational. Recent tragedies, including a robbery, have set them back. However, the residents of Cape Town have rallied to answer their plea, and nearly half the goal amount has already been raised.
Magic Music Radio wants to help them reach their target. If you remember all the memories your family has shared with the World of Birds please donate today. You can go through to their BackaBuddy campaign by clicking the link below.
