Breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer affecting women in South Africa.
According to the National Cancer Registry, 1 in 27 women are at risk of being diagnosed in their lifetime. Early detection and regular breast examinations are vital in fighting the disease. About 90% of patients survive for many years after diagnosis when breast cancer is detected early.
