App to revolutionise way people take taxis in Cape Town

A new app launched by the Western Cape government may revolutionise the way people take minibus taxis in the Cape. The app connects drivers and clients during the day, similar to that used by e-hailing transport services already in use. The vision is to evolve the service to allow individual commuters to use the service to book their taxi trips to work, shops, school and everywhere else that citizens go using taxis
