Award-winning gospel singer Xolly Mncwango has officially launched the Xolly Mncwango Foundation, a platform dedicated to empowering disadvantaged individuals and inspiring people to dream beyond their circumstances.

The foundation kicked off its mission with a Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch held at Universal Music Group, where guests dressed in pink-themed Unusual Merch in solidarity with the global campaign.

The event brought together survivors, healthcare experts, and supporters for a day of education, reflection, and hope.

Attendees were moved by powerful testimonies from breast cancer survivors and gained valuable insights from medical professionals, including Dr Nthabiseng Makgana, the CEO of Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. Discussions focused on early detection, prevention, and the importance of awareness in saving lives.

Speaking at the launch, Mncwango outlined her foundation’s vision of creating lasting social impact through education, empowerment, and faith-based support.

“This is not a charity. This is a purpose in motion. Our mission is to empower individuals, educate communities, and restore dignity through faith, support, and opportunity,” she said.

Mncwango also shared an inspiring message about the power of opportunity, adding:

“A child with a book becomes an adult with a vision, and a child with support becomes a leader with purpose.”

Through initiatives focused on health, mental wellness, education, and community development, the Xolly Mncwango Foundation aims to transform lives and build a legacy of hope and empowerment across South Africa.
