Through the lens of a young boy’s forced recruitment into the Lord’s Resistance Army in Northern Uganda, the production highlights themes of childhood innocence stolen, survival amid trauma and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
Combining humour, poetry and physical theatre, John Rwothomack’s one-man show confronts the brutality of conflict while highlighting hope, courage and the power of storytelling as a tool for healing.
Audiences will leave reflecting on injustice, resilience, and the universal need for empathy and understanding.
