The City of Cape Town is pushing to secure more investments, travel and trade from the UK market in order to drive more revenue into the local economy and create more jobs. Recently the City’s Economic Growth Directorate and Cape Town tourism met with UK travel industry leaders and other role players to give them a taste of what the city has to offer. The UK is Cape Town’s third largest export market and one of the top sources of foreign direct investment in South Africa.
