Comic Con Africa 2025
This renowned pop culture and gaming festival is returning to the City of Joburg this weekend.
This will include appearances by international and local celebrities where there will be autograph and photograph opportunities.
Misha Collins, who starred in “Supernatural”, Jessie T. Usher, who plays A-Train in the critically acclaimed show “The Boys”, and Chioma Antoinette Umeala, known for her roles in the live-action adaptation of “One Piece” and “The Woman King”, will be amongst them.
There will also be cosplay, gaming specials, eSports tournaments, “The Book Nook”, where fans can meet authors, as well as KidsCon, a dedicated area designed specifically for youngsters.
Where: The Johannesburg Expo Centre.
When: Runs until Sunday, August 31, from 9am to 6pm daily.
Festival of Motoring
Petrolheads are in for a treat as the eighth edition of this experiential motor show makes its way to Joburg.
The event will feature over 100 exhibitors and 22 premier automotive brands, while attendees can look forward to 4×4 Adventure Zones, a Self-Handling Track, a kids zone, a go-karting arena, as well as a mini carnival with a Ferris Wheel.

When: From Friday, August 29, to Sunday, August 31, from 8.30am to 6pm daily.
Fourways Mall Night Market
This gathering seeks to bring together local flavour, family fun, and after-hours excitement. It includes live music, kids’ entertainment, and food and craft vendors, all under the open sky.
