Goodbye Zee TV | DStv drops 5 channels from Add Indian package

DStv viewers subscribing to the Add Indian package are set to see changes to their channel line-up, with five channels being removed from the package from the end of October.

From October 31, 2026, SET Asia, Zee TV, SET Max, Zee Cinema and WION will no longer be available as part of the Add Indian package.

The affected channels are currently found on channels 450, 452, 457, 460 and 461, respectively.

Which channels will remain?

Following the changes, the Add Indian package will consist of three channels: Star Plus, Star Vijay and Colors TV.

MultiChoice has previously said it was refining its channel offering to focus on fewer, stronger channels while better reflecting how customers consume content.

The changes mean subscribers who currently use the Add Indian package to access Indian entertainment, movies and news will have fewer channels available from the end of October.
