The Proteas suffered yet another batting collapse in India, this time succumbing for 117 all out in the third T20I at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
India were all over South Africa earlier on Sunday, with the hosts producing a dominant bowling display in front of their home fans. Right from the start, India were on top, with opening bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana delivering a masterclass with the new ball.
Singh struck in the very first over, trapping Reeza Hendricks (0) in front to hand India their first scalp of the day.
Rana then accounted for the in-form Quinton de Kock (1), dismissing the batter lbw in the second over and setting the tone for the rest of the Indian attack.
Hardik Pandya (1/23), Varun Chakravarthy (2/11), Shivam Dube (1/21) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/12) completed what was a clinical bowling performance from the hosts.

The right-handed batter looked solid in the middle, striding onto the front foot and rocking back when required. His drives, cuts and pull shots saw him strike two sixes and six boundaries, as the 31-year-old registered a respectable strike rate of 132.60.
Donovan Ferreira (20) and Anrich Nortje (12) were the only other batters to reach double figures as South Africa were blown away on Sunday.
Last week, the Proteas were bowled out for 74 in Cuttack, their lowest-ever T20I score, and went on to lose by 101 runs. They bounced back in New Chandigarh, beating India by 51 runs to level the series 1–1.
