Joburg City Theatres is excited to announce the launch of its very first podcast, “Spotlight Theatre Talk Podcast”, an exciting new platform for authentic storytelling and real conversations.
The podcast creates a space where artists, creatives, cultural voices and industry personalities can engage freely and authentically, allowing audiences to experience conversations that are relatable, honest and inspiring.
Through this new platform, Joburg City Theatres continues to expand its commitment to storytelling, innovation and creating meaningful connections within the creative community.

Spotlight Theatre Talk will be a dynamic and engaging platform that amplifies JCT’s legacy while showcasing the richness of Johannesburg’s arts and culture scene. By offering exclusive contents such as artist interviews, behind-the-scenes insights and discussions on cultural issues, the podcast aims to connect with audiences both locally and globally.
Patrons and arts enthusiasts will be able to access the podcast through YouTube streaming,with plans underway to expand to additional platforms such as Spotify and other major streaming services.
Dedicated exclusively to arts and culture, the podcast positions Johannesburg as a vibrant cultural destination with diverse global appeal. The initiative further supports Joburg City Theatres’ commitment to innovation by extending its presence beyond traditional theatre spaces and creating new opportunities for audiences around the world to engage with its rich artistic and cultural offerings.
Episodes one to three were made available for thefor audiences to stream and the next three episodes will be available today on Spotlight TheatreTalk YouTube channel, offering a powerful and authentic conversations that define the platform.
