Another day, another trend. Kanye West,  sorry, Ye (still getting used to it), recently decided to get dramatic again by posting what he called a “Betrayal List” on his socials.

The man loves theatrics, it’s art, so this one didn’t exactly come as a shocker.

Before deleting it, Ye declared he was in “pain that no one person can fix,” then shared a list titled The Betrayal. The now-viral post included everyone from his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian (obviously), to Diddy, Pusha T, Kid Cudi and Ty Dolla $ign.

He even threw in NBA star LeBron James, former US president Donald Trump, and fictional characters like Curious George and Patrick Star.

But the real fun started when the internet decided to make their own betrayal lists, and they’re pure gold.

Instagram user @dancingbird222 posted, “My betrayal list inspired by Kanye,” featuring names and ideas we can all get behind.

The list started with Jennifer Lopez (a lot is going on there), followed by “Whoever invented hustle culture.”

Honestly, valid; we’re all tired, and sleep shouldn’t feel like a luxury.

Then came “Anyone who asks when I’m having a kid.”

Relatable. There’s always that one auntie or coworker who thinks your uterus has a public schedule. Let’s normalise minding our own reproductive business.

Another gem? “Skinny mirrors in fitting rooms.”

Now that’s a national crisis. One mirror makes you look like a supermodel, the next one looks like it’s trying to ruin your day. Mirrors really are chaotic. A reminder that beauty is in the eye of the beholder (and sometimes the lighting).

X user @alpacaaangel also jumped in with a list that deserves its own award.

First up: “Math.” Honestly, same. We all understood the basic stuff, addition, subtraction, and yes, Johnny with his apples.

But nobody needed to learn about calculating the surface area of a cylinder or finding the volume of a trapezoid-shaped tank. When have we ever used that outside of school? Exactly.

Another top-tier betrayal: “Underwire bras.”

Because nothing ruins your day faster than metal digging into your ribs while you’re just trying to breathe. Add a tight band, slipping straps, and that one wire that pops out mid-meeting and suddenly, you’re in a survival situation.

Then there’s the painfully accurate: “People who don’t say excuse me.”

You know the type, the ones who drive their ice-cold trolley straight into your ankles at Pick n Pay and just keep walking. Not even a glance back. The betrayal.

The internet has officially turned Ye’s drama into a comedy, and that’s the kind of collective coping we love to see.
