
South African musician Keabetswe KB Motsilanyane is dazzling international audiences with her performances.
The songstress delivered a wowing performance during the friendly match between Bafana Bafana and El Tri Legends. Mexico won 5-2, featuring a goal by Siphiwe Tshabalala.
Motsilanyane performed during the halftime with Mexican superstar Sergio Maya Hernández.
Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie celebrated Motsilanyane’s performance and shared a snippet online.
“Our one and only Keabetswe KB Motsilanyane took Hidalgo by storm with Mexican superstar Sergio Maya Hernández in the halftime performance that brought Mzansi and Mexico fans together so beautifully today. We thank Pachuca for coming out and making this very special,” he wrote.
The stadium audience is not the only audience Motsilanyane thrilled at the Outdoor Theater of the Cultural Park Hidalguense.
The official government agency in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico, Secretaría de Turismo de Hidalgo, shared pictures of Motsilanyane’s performance on social media.
“The talent and energy of KB Motsilanyane arrived this afternoon at the Outdoor Theater of the Cultural Park Hidalguense, where hundreds of attendees enjoyed a performance full of rhythm, culture and joy as part of the activities of the Legends Mexico vs. match. South Africa. 🎶🇿🇦”
The Secretaría de Turismo de Hidalgo explained that the live entertainment experiences allowed Hidalgo residents to enjoy the screening events.
“Through these kinds of experiences, Hidalgo strengthens cultural ties and gives Hidalgo residents the opportunity to live international screening events, in an environment that brings us closer and closer to the excitement of the upcoming globalist fair,” read the post.
