In a statement shared on X, Kelvin Momo acknowledged missing out the Sun City Resort performance and apologised for the disappointment caused by his non-attendance.
“There were unforeseen circumstances and miscommunications that led to my absence and I acknowledge that I should have responded more promptly and transparently to all parties involved. I am working closely with my team to ensure that something like this does not happen again in the future.”

Sun City Resorts, on Saturday, had to rush into crisis mode when, at the eleventh hour, Kelvin Momo ditched them for their Outside event.
In a statement, Sun City Resorts shared with attendees that Kelvin Momo would not perform at the event as scheduled, after not arriving for the show despite being contracted, booked and paid for.
The DJ has garnered a reputation for not showing up for his booked gigs. Before his Red Bull Symphonic show, fans were anxious about whether he would make the gigs, as he had missed three scheduled performances.
