As the September spring days bring slightly warmer temperatures, there’s more reason to get “Out & About” with Magic 828’s guide to events happening in the Western Cape this weekend.

The Rugby World Cup Sevens

The tournament is back for Cape Town rugby fans to enjoy. Taking place from Friday to Sunday the event will see over 40 teams, with 24 men’s and 16 women’s teams.

Africa Festival

The Karoo Art Hotel in Barrydale hosts the Africa Festival on 10 and 11 September in celebration of the continent and its people.

The festival will feature a series of free talks as well as live performances by musicians such as Nur Felix, the Clive Maasch band, Merinda Hill, Genevieve Berry and more as well as a puppet show.

Queen – It’s a kind of Magic

Go “Radio GaGa” for the rock tribute concert Queen: It’s a Kinda MagicFeaturing the hits over the years, the concert will happen in Cape Town for one night only.
