Today is the day matriculants have been preparing for, as they officially sit for their final exams. Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says her department is confident in its readiness to administer this years National Senior Certificate exams. More than 920,000 learners are expected to write this years exam, with the class of 2022 among those rocked by Covid restrictions and the current bout of load shedding.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has pledged allegiance to working with AmaZulu King MisuZulu kaZwelithini in a quest for government to move the country forward. The president was speaking during the official coronation of the king at the weekend. President Ramaphosa also handed the king a certificate which recognises him as the leader of the Zulu nation.
