Season three of “Married at First Sight Mzansi” is back on screens, and fans are eating up the drama.

The series follows a group of singles who agree to marry partners chosen for them by relationship experts. Meeting for the very first time at the altar, each couple takes a leap of faith in the hope of finding lasting love with a stranger.

The season three couples are Hlulani Ngobeni and Nompumelelo Sobopha, Lesiba Tleane and Matshediso Maphutse, Obren Masuku and Laurinda Mabunda, and Prince Masuku and Esethu Seku.

24-year-old entrepreneur Sobopha, in an interview with Mzansi Magic, shed light on what inspired her to say “I do” to a stranger, her husband, and more.

After getting tired of the usual dating scene, Sobopha thought, why not let the experts take a shot and signed up for the social experiment show.

“I loved that it challenged people to be intentional about love instead of just chasing chemistry. It felt like stepping out of my comfort zone for something meaningful,” said Sobopha.

When she saw her husband, Ngobeni, for the first time at the altar, Sobopha was a bit shocked, but curious and excited to see where the journey would take them.

As she walked down the aisle, Sobopha was filled with a mix of excitement and nerves, hoping that the biggest leap of faith she’s taken would be worth it.

In order to prepare herself for filming, Sobopha reminded herself to stay open-minded, trust the process, and embrace whatever came her way, even the unexpected.

Sobopha thinks people should follow her journey because it’s real, relatable and full of surprises. “You’ll laugh, cringe, and probably shout at your TV a few times!”
