North West is the latest star to grace the cover of Dazed, with the 13-year-old opening up about her growing music career and her surprisingly ordinary ambitions.
The daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West features on the cover of the magazine’s Autumn 2026 issue, photographed by filmmaker Gus Van Sant and styled by Imruh Asha.
But it was North’s plans for life away from the stage that caught attention.
Asked what she would do if she were not an artist, North said she would like to get a regular job, specifically mentioning Starbucks.
“I still wanna work. I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year,” she told Dazed.
North, who is currently 13, added that she thought she could work there when she turns 14 because she wants to experience having a “regular job”.
The comment comes as North is already building a career in music.
She released her debut six-track EP, “N0rth4evr”, in May and has performed at major music festivals, including Rolling Loud and Summer Smash.
Despite being only 13, North appears determined to take her music seriously.
Asked about the worst advice she has received, she named being told to start her career later.
“It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do with my life,” she said.
She also described her ideal day as one spent rehearsing before heading into the recording studio.
North’s Dazed cover comes as she continues to carve out an identity separate from her famous parents, with the magazine describing her as ready to be seen on her own terms.
For now, though, her music career appears to be taking priority. Her dream of a regular coffee shop job may have to wait.
