The Western Cape Health Department has Oral Rehydration Solution corners situated in all healthcare facilities across the province. This as increased cases of diarrhoea begin to be seen once again, with the gastro season said to run from November through to May each year. Emergency Medicine Specialist at Life Healthcare Dr Charl van Loggerenberg has told Magic News that parents can check their children for signs of dehydration.

The City of Cape Town is proposing to have a MyCiTi bus staging facility be erected for buses and drivers in Wynberg. The facility will be located near Wetton Road, with residents encouraged to submit their comments by December 9th. The City says that its working on expanding the bus service footprint and they need a staging facility that will be close to the two MyCiTi stations in Wynberg.
