Over 750 enforcement members clamp down on crime in the Cape

A heavy police presence will remain in Markiana in Philippi East over the next couple of days as law enforcement entities clamp down on criminal activity in the Cape.

The City’s JP Smith says that the operation with more than 750 enforcement members, including Metro Police, Traffic Services and Law Enforcement will also be rolled out in other areas across the metro affected by the criminal element.

Smith says they will continue to clamp down and bring law and order to every community across the City by using all resources available.
