THE Pro20 Cup gets underway at SuperSport Park, with the Momentum Multiply Titans hosting a cricket-filled double-header to open the 2026/2027 domestic T20 season.
The Sky Blues will welcome the Yes Play Cobras to the iconic Centurion venue for the marquee fixture of the day, with the first ball set to be bowled at 6pm.
Before the Titans take to the field, the first match of the day gets underway at 2pm, when the Dafabet Warriors face off against the North West Dragons.
The double-header format gives fans at SuperSport Park two matches’ worth of top-order batting, sharp fielding and high-octane T20 cricket in a single afternoon and evening of entertainment.
North West supporters based in Centurion, as well as Eastern Cape natives in the area, are encouraged to come out and rally behind their teams this Friday, with both the Dragons and the Warriors sure to appreciate a strong show of support from fans who now call the region home.
For the Titans, Friday’s opener against the Cobras marks the beginning of another campaign in pursuit of silverware. The Sky Blues will be looking to add to a trophy cabinet that already boasts 22 titles, with the squad eager to make it 23 as the new season gets underway on home soil.
Beyond the competition on the field, Friday’s fixture also represents a welcome return for supporters.
The Titans are looking forward to seeing fans back at SuperSport Park in numbers, filling the grass embankments once again to soak up the atmosphere as the home side’s stars take to the crease under lights.
