The recent trailer release for Rowan ‘Mr Bean’ Atkinson’s new short series on Netflix has generated immense excitement among his fans. Many anticipate that the show will positively reawaken their childhood memories with laughter.
Atkinson, beloved by fans for his iconic “Mr. Bean” character, returned to Netflix in 2022 with the successful short series, “Man vs. Bee”. This series, which is a must-watch for fans who missed his recent work, features nine episodes, each approximately ten to twelve minutes long, with the first chapter being 19 minutes.
“Man vs Baby” is a short series of four episodes, each 30 minutes long, totaling approximately 2 hours. Slightly different from the last series, which is approximately 1 hour and 48 minutes in total, of all episodes combined.
Atkinson is now reuniting with Netflix for another comedy series titled “Man vs. Baby” as Trevor Bingley.
He was spotted early this year in February, and was suspected of shooting another “Man vs Bee” series, and his true fans were already informed that he’s shooting another series.
A fan named David, on TikTok, commented, “I’ve just checked his upcoming projects and he is doing another Mr. Bean. He has 3 projects upcoming. Johnny English 4, man vs baby, and an untitled Mr. Bean project.”
The newly released trailer introduces the central plot through a series of key dialogues. It opens with an officer asking Trevor, “Sorry to bother you, sir. We’re making inquiries about a missing baby.” Later, Bingley calls his family, dismissing their inquiries for details by simply saying, “It’s a long story.” It was almost the same thing in “Man vs Bee”.
The tension escalates when Bingley calls the police, reporting, “I rang earlier about a baby that was left behind, at St Aldwyn’s school.” However, the call quickly cuts off after a brief, confusing exchange where the police officer asks if his last name is “Mr Bin,” an assumption Bingley instantly denies, and the chaos starts from there.
A loving TikTok fan @Not Spidy commented, “I mean… the story is IT’S ROWAN! Of course we’re gonna watch it!
Anticipation is already high among fans for the series, which is set to be released on December 11, 2025.
