The Rocky Horror Show
This musical is in town to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The KickstArt theatre company presents this cult classic directed by Steven Stead, featuring set designs by Greg King and costume designs by the Monaco-based Terrence Bray.
Meanwhile, Johannesburg actor Tshepo Ncokoane will take on the famous role of Frank N Furter, a mad scientist known for his cross-dressing ways.
Audiences can expect to enjoy classic songs from the show, including “The Time Warp”, “Sweet Transvestite”, “Touch-a-Touch Me” and “Damn It, Janet”.

Shakespeare Schools Festival SA
The 15th annual Shakespeare Schools Festival South Africa (SSFSA) will return to Durban with groups presenting innovative renditions of William Shakespeare’s timeless plays.
The festival will deliver captivating performances by passionate young thespians for audiences.
These include Maris Stella pupils with “Merry Wives of Windsor”, Isibonelo High School with “Romeo and Juliet” and Sastri College with “Macbeth”.
“Twelfth Night” and “Coriolanus” are also on the line-up.

Rainbow Connection
“Rainbow Connection” is a heartwarming play celebrating cultural diversity.
This enchanting show comes to life through stories told by grandmothers, sharing their wisdom and heritage with grandchildren.
Using music, dance and poetry, the play highlights the importance of preserving cultural stories.
The characters learn valuable lessons about empathy, understanding and the beauty of diversity. As the play progresses, cultures blend in celebration of unity and diversity, symbolised by the rainbow.
